History and Mission of Gloria J. Parks Community Center

The Gloria J. Parks Community Center was founded in 1992 by a group of dedicated community members.

It was named after Gloria J. Parks, a local activist who was instrumental in its creation. The center’s mission is to provide a safe and welcoming space for community members of all ages to connect, learn, and grow.
